So another typhoon came through last week. And when I say “came through” I mean, NOTHING! Oh no, it’s coming right for us! pffft. I didn’t even have to watch the weather updates to know it wasn’t. Sure, it came “close” to the “island” but all we got was a little rain and lots of wind (which was a great workout trying to walk places and constantly fighting the wind BTW). Ah well, maybe next time. Oh that’s right, I won’t be here next time. Good one team…Good one.

Totally missed it. Sitting here doing laundry thinking, man it must be raining out with how dark it is. Way to be. Oh well, I wouldn’t even have heard about it if i weren’t in a class last week. I love not giving a shit about what’s happening in the world. Now, what should i eat for lunch?

Grace Park…Nuff Said.

So my housing company (Peace) calls me and discloses that another housing company (Sunny) thinks I might have a water problem. Peace then explains that Sunny has been checking our meter since all of the other tenants in this complex belong to them. Apparently Sunny thought that this apartment was vacant (huh? been here for three years…) and there was a serious leak somewhere. Peace explained that the apartment was ocupado and they would call me to see if I thought there was a problem somewhere because Sunny wanted to send people out to fix it.

After a brief conversation, I informed Peace that there were two people living here and we probably did use a lot of water. (Two people working out twice a day tends to generate more showers and more laundry.) The agent then kindly cautioned that because our water is included in the price of rent, that we should stop using so much water or the owner might start charging us. She did note, however, that the past three months readings have not been very high. I found this amusing since my roommate has been gone practically that entire window of time. So, mental note…punch Stevens when he uses water. Problem solved.

Another day, another dollar. I’m so fed up with this stinkin’ rock. I found out today that i may be leaving sooner than later though. Let’s hope this plays out in my favor. Get Me Off This Island!

Changed up my exercise routine lately to be more fat burning and less weightlifting (all my partners are out of country at the moment). All I can say on that is…my legs are loving me.

On another note, I was thinking of starting to watch the show ‘Weeds’ from the beginning. I’ve heard some good things. oh and tomorrow is my birthday. word.
